Here I Go…

So, here is my very first blog post.  I’m a little nervous since I am so new to this kind of thing, but so many people have told me I should start a decorating blog.  I’m not a professional decorator, but I truly love to arrange, style and design my home.  I get so much joy from re-doing, re-purposing and rearranging my home.

I have a craftsman style home in a suburb of Atlanta.  We moved into this house about 10 years ago.  It’s important to me to have a warm and cozy place that people feel good about when they walk through the front door and it’s not unusual for me to hear, “you have a beautiful and comfortable home”.  It’s a great feeling.

Anyway, I don’t want to make my first post too long, so I will end for now and show you a couple of my fall decorating pictures.

Mini white pumpkins, pinecones, leaves and cotton branches.

I found this print on Pinterest, I have found some great free prints to put in this frame as the seasons change.

My white pitchers are almost always a part of my mantle every season, and I just love the cotton branches I found at Hobby Lobby for half off that I have incorporated into several areas of the house…more to come!

I spray painted some grape vine pumpkins so they would show up better to put into the tin Paris Flower Market box that I found at Ross’.  Sometimes I find some really neat stuff there and so cheap!

This lantern is another thing I just change up each season, I have used it for so many things, like a wedding once, and as a centerpiece.

I hope you enjoyed the photos.  See ya next time.  Brenda
